    Hello. I have about £1k – £2k to spend in theory. Was thinking of Siemens. Any other ideas from those ‘in the know’?

    A good article here in our buying guide, the models quoted have probably been superceded but the principle is still the same. The Siemens is probably a good bet to be fair.

    Thanks I did read that. Don’t fancy Maytag really – read some bad things on some US forums so will probably go with Siemens – seems and looks ok with a 5 year warranty. Not a gambler so no Samsung for me!
