Hi, I have a Diplomat ADP8242. For sometime now it has had the same problem.
When the dishwasher is turned on the red light comes on on the program selected and flashes and the machine beeps once. This has always happened. Usually I push the ‘P’ button and the light stops flashing indicating the program is selected and the dishwasher starts when I shut the door.
The intermittent problem (but becoming more and more frequent) is that when I push the ‘P’ button nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. In the past it has eventually come back to life after switching it off, leaving it on, just seems to be random. However, it has now been off for a few days and I have to actually wash by hand!!!
Can anyone help? (Although I do softer hands now 🙂 )
