Bloody nora……really???…Oh we know them here alright. Why don’t you go into SEARCH and type the following : – PREMIER AND ELECTRICS , then click the General Trade button to only search there…OK?
Happy reading……………… 8)

They swamped my local directories and they are over 2 hours from me. They use “Ghost Numbers” so it looks to the punter that they are local, but of course answered 90 odd miles away. Their “No Call-Out” regime is questionable.
Engineers tend to conveniently “have a machine in the back of the van destined for another customer”, which they are happy to sell to them on the spot, and then collect a replacement for the original customer later in the day.
I can’t complain really as they sell a lot of Gorenje or Amica, and I get the warranty work. So they are replacing some makes we don’t repair, with makes we do repair.

are they in cahoots with on-call? as recently being seeing their vans but they are delivery size vans as opposed to the smaller type i would associate with repairers.

HI
Part of Comet is called ON Call. Looking at site this relates to the computer side of business. Logo looks simular to one on oncall.co.uk but colours are different.

taken from their website:
We don’t just supply new appliances, we also offer a repair service aswell. We have a team of fifteen fully trained engineers available for SAME or NEXT DAY call outs to look at your exsisting faulty appliance. At present we cover the following postcode areas
SO, PO, BN, GU, RG, TW, SL, OX, SN, BA, SP, DT, TA, BH
thats a big area to cover for only 15 engineers, I have 5 engineers covering the RG postcode alone

But Apple,
Doncha know they don’t repair, just give estimates and install new machines 😆
Rip off merchants, seen them do it and had to pick up the pieces afterwards.
Scum of this trade and no mistake
