AEG D4100-1m double oven tripping power out

Hi,
Please can someone help! I’m new here, so any help would be much appreciated please.

The oven trips the mains nearly every time the temperature knobs are turned to the Off position. This happens on both the Grill and the Oven.

I have been told that this could be the sign of an element on the way out, so I have bought and installed a new circular element around the fan in the oven. But it still trips the power out.
I can see the element on the roof of the oven and the grill, and there is one in the base of the oven too I think. But before I shell out more money on the “hope” that replacing the elements would fix it, I’d like to ask here first.

Has anyone had this problem before or have any ideas what could be causing it please? Could it even be a problem with both the temperature knobs?
