CANDY CDI 1012 only washing top half

Hi

I have a CANDY CDI1012 integrated dishwasher. Recently it has not been washing the dishes in the bottom tray properly. Top half is fine but if I put pans, glasses etc in the bottom they are not cleaned inside at all. It looks like there is no water jet coming up from the bottom spray arm. When I checked the manual it says this can happen if you choose the half-load option. My control panel doesn’t have a half-load button – it isn’t in my manual picture of the control panel (although it mentions it in the trouble-shooting info). The online version of the manual shows an extra button, which my machine doesn’t have, to choose the “half load” option. I have checked the filters and that nothing is stopping the bottom spray arm from spinning (holes are not clogged). Any ideas whether there is anything I can do short of paying a £99 callout charge which I can’t really afford as I have just been stung by Miele for the same amount to fix a beeping alarm fault on my fridge freezer! Both items are only a couple of years old – nothing is made to last these days, I swear they seem to just want to generate after-sales revenue by building in faults! 👿 Thanks for any help.
