15 month old indesit, where the normal smooth fill of water is being interrupted into short sharp bursts and then a 15-20sec pause, then a burst again. sort of a bit like how the lgs are supposed to.

the drain prog is also being interrupted too. havent been out to it yet, but this is all the info i have from the customer but has anyone any pointers with this one?

I had one of these doing this.I reasoned it was the main board but EMW didn’t have one in stock and I didn’t fancy sending it in for repair so directed customer back to Indesit.

Spoke to the daughter of the customer yesterday who confirmed they changed the board and all was well 🙂

They did however charge her £140 which included 12 mths cover.

when i implied on the phone it might be better off getting ind/hp out as it was prolly the board, her words were i cant afford that, thats why im booking you… 😯

after going out to look at it, she said they werent budging on 164 with the 12mths guarantee when she told them of the symptoms over the phone.

i know in the past if it sounded like the customer was gonna decline theyd halve the 12mth guarantee price to about £135 if it sounded like customer would go elsewhere, but not on this occasion… troubles maybe?

anyways seems all sorted now, will just await an angry “you fixed machine yesterday NOW IT NO WORK” call 2moro morning…
