Make: Beko WMA 667S Washing Machine

After a couple of extremely noisy washes I figured the bearings must have gone even though the machine is only 18 months old.

The machine seemed to run fine until it came to the final spins.

After sourcing a bearing from here I then decided to have a look and see how easy it was going to be to fit, only to find this when I took the top and back cover off the machine:

Obviously the concrete block has snapped and the broken parts had fallen to the floor underneath the machine.

Am I completely up the creek without a paddle here, is there a possibility of fixing the problem or am I looking at a new machine in the run up to Crimbo?

Just as a final thought, would a scrap yard be of any use and how difficult would this be to fix if I was able to get hold of one?

    Many thanks

Looks like you will be needing a weight too. Are you sure the bearings were done & that in fact it may have been the broken weight that was causing noise.
