Well i’m sure you folks have heard it all before but fridge section is freezing up over a few days from power off total defrost. Replaced thermostat, re-insulated back and problem still evident. All seals are good as is airflow. Manual temp control knob not working as compressor running permanently without cutting out at any setting. Permanent green light still works normally for control settings as does super freeze yellow light when turned up to max.
What possible faults could I be looking at please other than pcb??? 🙁
Just to let you know interior is undamaged and back and all pipes clean.
Initially when “fiddling” cranking control knob from min to max and back the compressor did cut out but only for a couple of seconds but running permanently now. Freezer running fine frost free. Ice builds slowly in fridge from small water droplets initially width of middle shelf in front of thermostat and slowly spready upward to top with little freezing at bottom. Seems to hover around -2 to -3.
Hope this is enough detail for an educated guess. Really appreciate any feedback as I would hate to discard if relatively straight forward.
