    hi,
My dryer is really leaking a lot, it seems to carry on leaking even when not being used.
The water appears to be coming from underneath the machine on the side where the condenser unit drawer is. i took the drawer out and it’s caked with dried up dust – can I take this apart to clean it? is this making the problem?
I have to say – this machine is very old and pretty grubby. I am not sure which bits of it I can take apart as am housewife with 7 month old and not confident of tinkering in case I make things worse!
pls tell me if we can fix it, is no way we can afford to buy a new one.
    thanks

It’s the condenser door and door gasket that is causing the leak. You need to remove and clean the metal condenser thoroughly and the housing where it is located. Ensure you latch the condenser back correctly, clean the outer door and ensure it’s gasket is clean and located correctly. Finally closing the door being careful to check that it is latched correctly. 😀

    Bosch Excell.
    Hi Martin.
I seem to be having the same problem with my dryer, in that water is gathering under the front housing of the condenser unit (between the plastic front of the condenser, and the entrance surround), where water then drips down the condenser cover hinges onto the floor.
Do you think this is to do with the seals, as everything seems to be working well, and every part is clear of fluff/lint.
    Many thanks
