ParticipantCalled to this today. Someone was at it before me and diagnosed and replaced the circuit board up top. Apparently when it was changed it wouldn’t fill with water. It starts up , pump runs the minute or 2 then silence.
I checked the valve and the green wire and purple wire read ok all the way up to the board. So this must be a faulty new board then? Or have i missed something? They guy before me then admitted he is not that well up on them 😯 , he is mainly an electrician. He was supposed to send someone back but she never heard from them again. So the chances are whether the board is now faulty it probably still has the original fault. It’s been so long she can’t remember what the original symptoms were. She does remember it did fill before new board went in.

Did one today for D&G insurance, check the production number of the appliance as there may be a couple of different PCB’s for it, also check the edge connectors as they can not make contact or burn out, I had to replace both the PCB and the wiring loom on the one I had today, HTH 🙂

Would a faulty water counter stop it from filling? I thought usually they would fill and when they don’t get a signal then stop? The valve doesn’t power up at all.

ParticipantThanks for the replies .. I went back and checked continuity between the orange and brown and was ok. I checked the float switch and is ok. Any other ideas before i order a board? i think the boards are cheap anyway.
