    Got a call for this cooker where the oven was not heating and would now trip the rccb as soon as cust set timer.

    I of course went straight in with a new oven element which worked, so after checking it was heating for 1 or 2 minutes I turned it off … and it blew the trip.

    The megger shows the appliance has low insulation, I disconected all the elements and the fan motors, still low insulation.

    What could it be?

    try the selector switch,as you turn it shorts to casing,probably loose shaft,nige

    The Cooker trips now without touching any selectors..

    It trips when the clock is set?
