I will say it once again, you should not run the dryer with the panels off, especially the back panel. :rolls:
There is no mention in your posts of why you changed the heater/stat assembly in the first place ?
Also none of your posts mention the use of electrical test equipment. If you did use them then you would know if the stats had failed again or if the element was OK or not, you can’t tell if an element is sound by ‘looking at it’. 😉
The thermostat in the door will stop the heater from working if it is O/C, it will not cause the heater or the TOC ( safety stat ) to fail. A badly blocked condenser is a common cause of stat failure, as is a faulty motor capacitor.
