ParticipantMy diplomat adp8322 dishwasher is filling up with water, heating up, completing a full cycle, and draining fine, but no water is coming out of any of the arms and they are not spinning. I have removed the arms and checked for blockages and they are all clear. It has only happened snce i filled the salt up on Saturday afternoon. Is there anything i can do myself, or do i need to call out an engineer?? Thank you 🙂

You should be able to hear it also you should hear the water going round the machine.

Oh right… yes I know what you mean now 🙂 Well i can hear the water trickling in (literally trickling) and it is through a vent type thing on the side wall…. no water through the arms though. and then throughout what would have been a quite a noisyish cycle, it makes a hissing noise internally. and then when draining it is making the normal noise again…. (i am so sorry if this is complete gibberish, but i am trying to explain the best i can) I have cleaned the filter today, thinking it might be that but it isnt…. Thank you for you help 🙂 Kate

Before we go any futher any advice I give you is in good faith. Pull the plug of the machine and clear ALL the water from within the machine. Then pull the machine and put it on it’s back have a look around the large motor if no sighns of arking put on its feet and try to find a way to the impelor and see if any thing is jamming it. Thinking about it I would do this first.

repair loads of these. if you are unfortunate to have the model with the askoll spray pump then it will be seized. there is a retro fit conventional motor which will replace it and you’ll never have this problem again. best get a quote from a local guy, i do it for £110.00. (northumberland)
