    Good evening all,

Could someone let me know the error code E04 for the above Candy slimline integrated dishwasher?

I have been quoted this code over the phone, and the customer doesn’t possess a handbook fot the m/c.

Evidently, the m/c has gone on to drain mode, and the controls will not permit the user to change the wash programme etc.

I have scanned the Search facility on here without success.

    Best wishes,

    Thanks electrofix,

I’ve had a look at the manual you kindly directed me to.

However, as you say, no trouble codes in manual.

I really need to know what error code E04 relates to.

    Best wishes,

    Thanks helo_75,

I have had another look at the dishwasher in question today, but have been unable to cure the problem yet.

I drained the water from the unit, which then allowed programmes to be selected, which was not the case before.
The m/c would then run correctly for about 30 seconds before returning to the pumping out/safety mode.

Error code E4 re-appears, and does so for about 5 mins before stopping tha above cycle.

I drained the remaining water again, and selected a wash programme again. The cycle started as normal, the m/c allowing water in, and the wash pump kicking in for about 30 seconds again.

During this time I checked for water leaks as best as possible, and was unable to detect any leakage.

I’m wondering if the anti flood device itself is faulty, and if so, how does one check it?

    Best wishes,

    jontymox
