Neff Dishwasher not heating up (S5443X1GB/29)

Hi guys,

Sorry for another one of these. I have a Neff S5443X1GB/29 and it has stopped heating up the water.

I noticed it when the cycle was taking ages.

Basically am skint and was wondering what the best thing to check first is. After reading this forum I have concluded that water is getting into the machine without problems. It seems to be all slushing around when I open the door during a wash.

I have noticed recently that it really does smell even though we have cleaned it out. Could this be because it has been using cold water?

I am thinking its either the heating element or the pcb. Is there anything else it could be that doesn’t require a costly fix and I can check easily?
