The belt is an EL1860H7 which is about the same size as the drum you have to stretch the belt about 4/5ins
Top, facia and both sides off you can then fit new belt around the drum, it is worth checking that the Drum Shaft and the 4 front bearing pads are ok. Fit the left side (looking from front) and facia back lay it down on the left side, I thread some cable (from an old loom) through the vents in the base of the machine around belt and back through vent hold them with a pair of mole grips and pull to get the belt onto the motor that’s about it. Good luck

You need to check the date code, this machine has both the early jockey pulley system and the awful later stretchy belt set up.

If it is after date code 80 then the above instructions are near enough, I only take one side off though. 😉

If it is date code 79 or less then it has the jockey pulley system and a totally different belt.

1701658 elasticated belt after date code 79.
1700442 normal belt with jockey pulleys before date code 80.

If it is the earlier type then I tip them upside down, remove the plastic kickstrip if fitted. Take off the metal kickstrip/panel and then ease the front panel out. It is then possible to thread the belt around the drum and motor shaft/jockey pulleys without removing any other panels.

    Jim.
