Replaced the board on this a couple of months back and now it’s F01.
Tony (EMW) say’s boards gone west because the motor is shorting but it test’s >550megg on all pins.

Has anyone else had this on these 3 phase motor’s ❓

yes, its quite common but its worth checking the wires in the motor plug first.

    the pcbs are just unreliable

I’ve been told there are two 7 pin 3 phase motors for these, one with a 50mm stator & one with a 60mm.

Does anyone know if they’re interchangeable ❓

Don’t suppose there’s any way of bench testing these motors, with them being 3 phase ?

“Shorting motor” could also mean a coil gone L-N short?
You quite often see the small Merloni 3-phase motors on e-bay from machines which have had drum failure. They usually remain unsold at 99p, though going rate for carriage is a tenner.

I could test the windings for the correct resistance with a multimeter I suppose, but I suspect it’s shorting when it’s in motion 😡
