Hi Guys, hope you are all well.

I have a top loader American Style Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washing machine.

Problem occurs at spin, it doesn’t. It empties out, makes the ‘spin noise’, but not being able to see it, I can’t really tell how fast it’s going. I did open the lid at one point, drum was going round fast, but certainly not spin speed. When the wash is finished, the drum is empty of water, but the clothes are almost drip wet, you can wring water out of them.

    Any ideas?

    Hi wenger

usually, faced with this fault, i would be inspecting the clutch for signs of wear, and replacing it. Not a hard job, and if you can do it yourself the clutch will prob cost you no more than around £40 or so.

Thanks for that Joe. Next question. Do you know of any diagrams for this model, where I can locate the clutch?
