My sons White Knight dryer CL382WV (SN 0842269675) has developed a wobbly drum at the rear. When I looked at it there doesn’t seam to be any kind of bearings there apart from 1 black plastic clip and some very dense felt that had come away. Is this correct? I have stuck the felt back with a high grade silicone and it all seams OK, but should there be something else there? 😕

No, the rear “bearing” is just a dense felt strip that the rear drum pressing runs in. They will generally run until they collapse or you start to get black dust on your laundry……. 😉

Thanks for the conformation. If the felt fails I have found that replacement are available for under £10. But we will see how long my repair lasts.

Some of these dryers do have a couple of plastic bearing pads as well as the felt that clip onto the rear panel, can’t remember the part number though. 😳
