Hi
In a nut shell take a read of the ISE website which will tell you how the thought behind the appliances and how concept was born. Then take into consideration the permanent ten year warranty on the ISE10, no call centre to phone should an engineer be required as service is provided locally. Lastly the cost of spares on the ISE machines are far far cheaper than the Miele.
The spec of the new ISE1607 was posted in this recent thread.
HTH 🙂

Thanks for the reply.
I have read (and obsessed) over the ISE10 spec. and I am quite impressed.
I was kinda wanting to see peoples own rational of A over B.
I’ve actually tried to get hold of my local dealer (Leeds) to discuss getting one, got an answer machine and as yet I’ve not had a call back (5 days later). It sounds like a one man band.
This has kinda put me off the ISE10 as if it’s this hard to get hold of one then what sort of service can I expect if it has a problem.
The Miele has the same price tag and it’s features look on a par with the ISE10. Including the 10 year warranty.

If you type Miele AND ISE into the search function there are quite a few threads on one V the other.
From the link in my last post we know that the new model is not going to be available until early November but it will be worth the wait.
As for the local dealer he may be away on holiday have you tried contacting ISE direct, contact details here who will be able to update on the supplier nearest to you.
The Miele extended warranty offer is purely a promotional tool and is only valid on purchases until the 30th December, it will then finish we will then get the January list which if like last year will have a reduced amount of products on offer. The ISE10 guarantee is no sales / marketing tool it is the standard guarantee as supplied with all the ISE10 machines whether it’s bought in any month or year.
