We are looking at renewing the oven/hob and the fridge freezer. My wife reckons cream appliances would best suit our kitchen and we have almost settled on the Rangemaster Classic 90 (delux or not?) and a matching Rangemaster FxF 60:40 fridge freezer.
Two questions if have..
1) Is it better to go for the Classic 90 delux or the ordinary
2) What is the general concensus on the Rangemaster fridgefreezerWe have a budget of around £2.5k so are there any other alternatives (in cream) that we should be considering?

Which fuel type on the range cooker are you considering as the spec does vary from model to model?
In the meantime I’ll find out on the refrigeration, unless anyone else knows.

one tip – rangemaster f/f are heavy. almost twice as heavy as a lg or samsung american jobby.
dont be fooled by cheap net prices, make sure you insist on a “delivery to kitchen” service unless you really wanna break your back.
we did a sxs american f/f last week and it can bearly move it by one person !!!

The rangemaster american range is made by GE for them so in all purposes you are buying a cladded GE appliance.

Thanks for the replies. Don – we are looking at the dual fuel Classic 90 (delux or ordinary).
With regard to the Fridge Freezer, I am not too woried about the weight of the item (got plenty of helpers and easy access) but I am interested to hear what the general thoughts are on the quality / reliability etc.

The Deluxe version according to the latest Rangemaster catalogue has multifunction oven and glide out grill which do not appear on the standard version.
