    what is the best way to repair burnt wire on cooker amp connectr and use heatshrink sleeve over

    Do you mean the connector end where it joins the element or are you thinking of using butt connectors to put in a new section?
    The best way would be to renew the entire wire TBH. Makes a proper job of it. You can get that glass fibre covered cooker wire somewhere – it was discussed on here a few months ago, IIRC.
    If not, I’d use a good length of the glass fibre sleeving you find in various places in cookers, driers etc. (I’ve got a small collection of recouped bits, you can e-mail me with requirements.)
