not a massive fan of servis, but they were easy to fix when they werent digital…
servis m6804w (010077249-01) 4 years old…
has an electronic pcb selector, and digital option screen,
oddly theres no “on/off” switch button (ala beko/hp/etc) , and no “off” on the selector – just “reset” in position “0”
when the mains 13a plug is switched on it immediately locks the door and theres no lights on the digidisplay. it wont release the interlock until the 13a mains is switched back off.
power seems to be feeding to the interlock, so am assuming either lock triac on pcb or interlock has failed. the filter on the mains feed seems ok too
already been through the basics – carbons, wiring points/joints, filter/sump and visual inspection on both boards shows no noticeable blowouts, its just dont wanna order a £20 interlock that i might not use again in, without canvassing you guys for a second opinion/different perspective.
