ParticipantGet the customer to switch the appliance off from the supply for 30 secs and then switch back on. That is sometimes enough to get the appliance running again.

ParticipantRocker , ER15 is – ‘cooker too hot . If the temp reaches above 380*C , heating elements switch off and the oven is locked. The oven will not unlock unless temp drops below 300*C again’
This has happened because of the self clean i would guess. It may just be a ‘blip’ but It looks like you may have to enter the test programme to reset.
Switch 3 times between Rotisserie and Pyrolysis….this is prob better done by youself than the customer though.

Overheat rod stat mounted in top element. Other than that check the door lock has parked correctly.

Steve, when you say check rod stat, wouldnt that auto reset, or could this have got damaged.

What Nomadpaul says is quite correct, but added on to that is the rating on the rod stat is too low and a new version has replaced it with a higher temp under the same part number, you will need to enter service test to clear the error code but the stat must also be replaced otherwise the fault will reappear the next time the appliance is set to pyro.
