    Hello

    Have an E31 error on my Zanussi (see previous post).

    Now, I probably shouldn’t have done this (because I don’t know what I’m doing and, we all know what happened to the curious cat), but I’ve opened one of the pressure switches:

    Does it look ok? is the copper wire supposed to be split like that?

    Advice would be much appreciated. 🙂 [/img]

    Its a very delicate component so blowing into it or openinging it certainly won’t have helped.

    It looks ok & wires should be wrapped around those to tags & soldered, the wire should not bridge across the gap.

    Thanks for that. I thought I had nothing to lose by opening as still can’t get machine to work. Opened it to see if it was wet. I read another post somewhere where the situation was similar: machine wasn’t used for a few days and e31 error occurred. Just wondered if letting the machine dry out will help (bearing in mind it flooded in cellar where it was).
