Had an email from Philips this morning saying they will authorise any repair which is up 6 months over/out of it’s 2 year guarantee. They call it a leniency period as long as cust has p.o.p.

I suspect it will only be the consumer electronics like TV etc, the small appliances are usually on a one year swap out guarantee.
