ParticipantMy brother has reported a fault on his tumbledrier:
it only operates (drum and heat) when the on/off? operating? button is held pressed. On releasing it cuts out.
I think it is an electronic signal switch rather than mechanical so shouldn’t need holding in, surely if it works at all the signal has been given to the pcb?!any ideas from people knowing this and similar indesit models?
cheers

Sounds like a faulty relay pcb, part number C00112205.
Plug out if you intend to go inside. 😉

Hi
thanks for this advice, but is that part no an actual pcb board (which will presumably just swap out with spade terminals (like my AR4 900 motor module on my Servis M9303) or does this number refer to the relay itself which would poss? have to be soldered on to the pcb?
thanks

Its a complete unit, the relay is part of the small pcb, its at the front under the lid.

update on this:
I sourced the relay pcb board from apart4u. It took ages to arrive though, I think about 1½ to 2 weeks according to my brother but it was the cheapest I could find.
Fitted easily and machine works perfectly now so job successful!
cheers

Cheapest you could find. ❓
I have just Googled that part number, apart4u lists it at £38.76 😯
Four or five hits lower down and Mytub have it for just under £16.00.
Actual list price from Indesit ex vat is £8.50. :rolls:
