Hello All,
I have a problem with one of the rare USA Style Samsung Americans.
It all lights up but no power to compressor or internal Fans.
The Display has four 8’s
8888
The display when put into test/diagnosis mode flashes the very far figure 8, lower vertical left.

._|In other words, flashes from an eight into a nine.
Can anyone help?

Thought it wasnt a normal fault code…unless youve got the internet system on your model which i very much doubt…ignore it .. Its where it hasnt comunicated with another bpard which is irelivent on the uk models.

The Model is an Import Special, only available from Bradshaws in the UK. Price is a whopping £7,000.00
As far as I am aware, it has no internet connection.
I have replaced the main board as a trial as Samsung Tech cannot pinpoint the fault code. However, it still fails to operate.
At a bit of a loss as to what to try next.
The machine belongs to a Premiership football player who is moving out and wants it fixed ASAP.
Comet attempted to fix it 3 times
Another Engineer has tried and failedAnd now I have ended up with the call………….
So far suggestions have ranged from…….
Display PCB to Poor Earth.
Anyone any further suggestions?

As i said.the fault is for a external connection comunication port.As soon as i seen the picture i remembered the model and have seen 2 of them i =n the past 5 years.Who i samsung tech did you speak to as its in the manual.
Also if your main board isnt comunicating with the door control panel it may reading the manual throw up this error (i think).difficult to understand a bit as they call it differently.
Check all the connections from the top of the door right down to the connections behind the door control panel for continuity seperatly.
It is the 1st figure 8 from left freezer side ?.

This OneLower Left Vertical flashes changing 8 to 9
I will have to make another appointment to check all the connections again.
The fault is not in my Manual but my manual is about 10 years old!
