    Are most modern washing machine manufactured with sealed drums these days?
    I am unable to purchase spare parts for Hotpoint WMD series is their any reason for this?

    I would say most budget to lower mid range machines have sealed drums. The better quality stuff plus a few others still have split drums.

    Hard to give a definitive list as things can change with very little notice. Sometimes we don’t know until we take the lid off. 😥

    There is no reason whatsoever why you cannot obtain spares for Hotpoint WMD machines. Some of them are however fairly recent production so its possible the ‘online’ spares outlets will not yet stock any specific parts for them.

    The newer Zanussi washers have sealed drums now.

    The new Zanussi washing machines on the market now (ZWG1120M & ZWG1140M) have split tubs. 😉

    I wonder why they went back to split drum. I was referring to ZWF10270 machines about 2 year old.

    They are apparently made in China by a company called Midea.
