Is_it_time_to_replace
ParticipantHi, can anyone help with a problem I am currently having with a Bosch WFP3300, coming up with fault code F07.
Other than replacing the brushes about 6 months ago this machine has been faultless, today however on the days third load the machine came up with error code F07 almost as soon as it started to fill.
I have emptied the discharge tube and cleaned out the suds pump as per the manual, additionally I have removed and cleaned:
The gauzes on both water inlets (hot one had a build up)
The waste pipe (removed and cleaned all the way from the pump outlet)
Manipulated the main pipe from the bottom of the drum, the ball in there moves freely. The error code is still present.
The machine will operate fine on spin, drain, starching, soaking, pumping and wool 15 degrees settings, not on any others.
Can I assume that this is something to do with the hot water fill inlet? if so what can be done, as mentioned I have already cleared the gauze at the inlet to the machine.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Can I take it from the lack of responses that I have a rare fault!
Taking it further, is the part fitted to the rear of the hot water fill an electronic valve? or some crude temperature sensor?
I’m guessing its a valve, regardless the fault occurs regardless of this being connected.
Time for further testing

If you can check the resistance across the valve with a multimeter this should tell you if the valve has failed.
Prob 200ohms ish for a good one -but compare the working valve.
If the machine works on a cold wash then it is either valve, heater, wiring fault
or control board.Plug out first before investigating……………

F07 is the NTC o/c. also check the 2 brown wires all the way back to the PCB!

All though the wiring/terminal blocks looked intact, one conducter had broken withinn the terminal block at the NTC end, repaired and happily washing away now 😛
Thanks again

Glad to have been able to help!
Ps don’t part with that machine ever, it’s one of the best machines Bosch have ever made, and most likely ever will make!
