can anyone help me with this one please ,I have an integrated indesit dishwasher DI620 UK that aborts any of its programmes to light 2 and 4 flashing just after its filled with water and started washing then aborts to drain mode

Not heating, a very common problem on these.
As yours appears to have the large ‘L’ shaped heater in the base its more likely to be a faulty PCB.
The only way forward is to unplug, drag it out and from underneath test the heating element with a suitable multimeter or meggar.
Or of course get someone who can do it for you. 😉
yeah, thanks for that info on heater fault code lights 2 and 4,i tested the heater about 25 ohms and safety thermostat o.k. (0 ohms)and no earth faults) guess you right and maybe suspect faulty p.c.b.,checked that tonight and no visible evidence of burning arround heater relay or tracks,was also thinking about a faulty flow meter not regestering water flow in and perhaps aborting on time-out,or am I now looking to deep?

You will rarely see any obvious signs on the PCB, they are just very poor quality, fail if the wind changes. 😥
Two different PCB’s full serial number needed to ID. Cost around £60 + vat etc.
