zanussi washing machine beebing sound

hi i have a zanussi zwf1421w aqua cycle washing machine the last couple of days it has been playing up it seems to get to carry on washing but when it gets to the draining and rinse cycle it makes a sort of crackly sound and doesnt seem to do anything so what i have to do is turn it to drain the water out cycle then the rinse cycle and finally the spin its like the programmer or something isnt working any ideas anyone wot this could be ? also can make a bleeping sound if left for long enough flashing the end button ?
