Good evening all,
Wondering if someone could enlighten me on the above vented tumble dryer problem.
Namely, the m/c is overheating the laundry, and I immediately suspected a faulty TOC.
The readings obtained on multimeter 0-200 Ohms scale are good: 00.2 & 00.4 although I would like to know if these readings rule out the TOC’s regarding the above problem.
Not sure what else to test at the moment, a I have limited experience on tumble dryers.

Never had that problem on one of these, quite reliable apart from a few belt failures.
Is the high/low switch OK?
You need to pull the timer knob off to access the single screw that secures the plastic facia. 😉

“overheating the laundry” = burning smell? How familiar is customer with machine? Have you seen fault for yourself?
Would suggest you check that air circulation is good, no blocked filters, no blocked outlet, no charred fluff near heater element etc. Replace stat kit to be on the safe side, check it then operates OK and advise customer to use with caution and to contact you if any hint of further problem.
