The gulley behind the condenser is full up with water as none is being pumped up to water bottle.

How do you access the pump and the reservoir because even by taking the sides off there is no easy way to get at the pump.

Does the drum have to be taken out.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Not at all Mike. Once the belt jockey pulley spring is released and lifted the pump can be unclipped and lifted out. Access is even better if you release the white motor fixing clamp, slide the motor away and out the back. That allows even greater access to clean the whole sump area of fluff and debris.

However, before going to all those lengths it’s best just to ensure the black rubber pump hose isn’t just blocked with gunge? Or indeed the water container nozzle? Just taking the nozzle off and blowing down the pipe cures all. Followed of course by a good clean behind the condenser matrix to ensure no crud can block it again whilst your back is turned! 😉
