    Can anyone tell me if the drum bearings can be changed is this model (around 5 years old) or is it a sealed tub?

    You can change them, just changed a set on the same model myself. 😉

    Not strictly true, some FEW12’s have sealed drums. 😉

    Sealed drums came in around 2006 so you may be OK.

    If you have not actually seen the machine yet then ask them if there is a filter for the pump behind the kickstrip, if yes = sealed drum, no = screwed drum.
