Still on a learning curve on dishwashers 😳

Customer reports she’s cleaned out the spray arms but they refuse to turn. M/c fills ok and she can hear the pump running but that’s all.The customer also reports she found a circular rubber seal, about 2 inches in diameter lodged in the top spray arm but can’t see where it’s from 😕

She tried it again with the seal removed but still they refuse to turn 😡

Any help would be gratefully recieved

Had a quick look at this, main pump seems to run but no rotation on spray arms. Also don’t know what this seal is she’s found lodged in the top spray arm 😕

    Help ?

Maybe it’s a gasket that fits at the inlet to top spray arm at back of cavity? If it came out, you’d get a loss of spray pressure.

I went to a similar M/c late yesterday & had a scout around inside, I’m pretty sure the seal is from under rinse aid cover.
I did a search on the spray arms not turning and found some mentions of the feed pipe to the upper spray arm becoming detached at the sump but would this effect the lower arm as well ?

Surely it would. Loss of pressure.
