My diplomat dishwasher has decided to pack in just at the wrong time.
The fault appears to be irrespective of program a time out fault due to the water not heating, the machine starts runs for a time then stops with a continuous beeping sound.
On opening the door the machine power light is flashing three times in succesion, a slight pause then three times again, this is continuous until i hold the power button for two seconds then the machine resets, i close the door and the machine drains…Is this something I can fix, or do i need a tech…

Three flashes is simply a ‘no heat detected’ fault. This could be due to several things, the first and most obvious is a failed heater which can only be checked with a meter so if you can operate one that’s the first port of call.
Plug out at all times when testing :zap:
If you don’t have a meter then maybe it’s time to call an engineer?
