Re: ENERGY EFFICIENT WASHING MACHINE
Hi,
So let me understand this correctly…
You want an energy efficient machine (which in itself is a bit misleading the way it’s billed but we’ll park that for now) that will likely be A+ or A++. Why is that the important thing here?
The reason I ask is that, in the next breath, you say you’re looking at a machine retailing for £129. Can I ask what you actually expect for that amount of money?
The reason I say this is that, after you take off the VAT, the shipping, the dealer margin and all of that malarky that machine is costing about in the region of £50 at most to build.
Then that begs the question, what sort of technological marvel that will last more than a winter or two do you expect for £50 in the world of washing machines?
I’m sorry if I seem somewhat sarcastic but, £129! Seriously!!
For that money you’re buying a pile of throw away rubbish, energy efficiency doesn’t even come into it, the machine won’t last long enough to save anything. Sorry, but that’s the truth of it.
HTH
