    Hi guys. This machine will lock door and drain, wont go in to wash.Gone into diagnostics E54. I’ve got motor relay contacts sticking for that.Checked heater down to earth and continuity, checked motor brushes, I then ran out of time, customer had to go out.
    Done a search on here someone had similar problem but couldn’t follow the links. Would like to go armed with a bit more info.

    check inlet solenoids, especially pre wash had a 12070w(2 yr old) go down on this.replaced solenoids but still no joy.triac on board gone.paul

    E54 is — P.C.B faulty or current leakage from motor or from wiring.

    Thank you both. That will give me something to go on. Dont think the customer will run to a pcb.

    If it does come to that, and they’re not too happy, and it’s under two years old, and they bought it from a big retailer, give them a written quote for repair and get them to contact the retailer. See this recent thread.
