Hello
I have a 10 year old SMEG DWD44SS.
Gradually it has left the dishes less and less clean – so I dismantled and cleaned all the arms (that was also done regularly) but in fact the reason was it was injecting less and less water inside.
Now it doesn’t inject any water at all but if I fill it myself it runs fine (pumps, drains, washes etc), I just have to be here at the begining of each filling sequence (initial and rinses) to put water in.
There is no digital panel with lights or error codes – just an on/off pushbutton and a rotary knob to select programme.
What is the most likely problem – float switch ? pressure switch ? aquastop ?
There hasn’t been any water leaks and the problem has appeared gradually (if that helps).
How do I get to the problem area – bottom, rear, inside or side of the machine ?
MANY thanks for any help !
Claire
