    Hi,
    Been to look at a Smeg washing machine today. It fills ok, then goes into a spin cycle instead of a wash cycle?
    I’ve checked motor plug for broken wires and back to the board but can’t find anything unusual.
    I’m thinking probably a Tacho fault?
    Any other suggestions please?

    loose tacho magnet? or check for a circuit through the tacho coil, will be a new motor if open circuit. PCB otherwise I would guess.
