Does anybody else have one of these? ‘Free’ from MFI when we bought kitchen units recently. Previously had a Bosch which took half the time to complete a cycle. This one takes at least an hour and a half! Is this normal?

We have a lousy diplomat 8234 which was put in by some botch-it builders when we bought our house. It’s broken, so I’m online trying to buy a new mother board for it. I suggest you buy a new one unless you’re going to move soon.

Yes that’s quite normal, the more modern appliances use less water (energy saving appliances, what the consumer wants ;)) which take longer than the older appliances to complete a full cyvle.

I’ve actually got a 2 year old Bosch which takes nearly 2 hours to complete the very hottest/longest wash.

Anyway, what’s the rush ? Put in on when you go to bed, it’ll be done by the time you wake up 😀

The main PCB control unit for ADP8234 is £156.65 inc VAT and delivery.

If you need one let me know by email, I can order and send on to you.

    Regards.

    Dave.
