I am a university student and I am doing an assignment on consumer behaviour. I had to choose a brand and I have chosen Indesit washing machines. I hope you can help me.I am looking only for Indesit uk washing machine customers.

Why not just enter Indesit in the search box of this forum, you will soon find out what a poor quality, unreliable machine the Indesit is, better still go to the home page and read the news about their current drum splitting problems. 😉

The survey is very simple and it focus on customer buying behaviour, not on customer retention or customer problems.
The buying process does not include bad thoughts, because I suppose a customers doesn’t buy what he/she doesn’t want to buy. There is always at least one advantage in that purchase.
I couldn’t have placed…why you think indesit is not a good product…
If all customers think that, it wouldn’t have been a market leader.
I don’t know very well washing machine market, but I think that also beko zanussi or other brands that sell around £200-350 have problems.I thank you for the link, I will read all the complaining to understand better the market.
My teacher wants a survey and I haven’t got any other possibility to reach some Indesit customers in a short time. I aplologize again, sorry if i didn’t contact to ask permission.Can I ask you if you could leave the topic open. If some Indesit customers want to fill in the survey for me? I have 3 answers up to now. Ten will be sufficient for my small work, but 3 i think will not be ok for my teacher. 😆

Is the general disapproval of Indesit washing machines based on recent makes or have they always been bad?
I’ve just had to replace my WE12S after 11 years. Only in the last couple of years did I have any kind of problem, (occasionally, the spin cycle would be a bit off). A few weeks ago it decided not to drain anymore, I opened the filter and drained it and found nothing clogging it up so I put it on a quick-wash just to try it out – same thing happened, no draining. I decided it was probably more cost effective to get a new machine than to pay for a new pump/call-out etc.
I was going to replace it with another Indesit but after many hours of searching forums/reviews etc. I finally opted for a Bosch WAE244SO – a perfectly capable machine that “does what it says on the tin”, it washes and spins well but, Sweet Jesus, it’s noisy!! Even the wash cycle is noisy never mind the spin and I’ve used a couple of different cycles now!
If I moved house and the new owners wanted to buy the Bosch I’d let them and get something else. I don’t think I’d miss it and the way it sounds I don’t think it’ll last me the same as the Indesit and I’m not sure I’d want it to.
I’m sure this is going to upset all you Indesit haters but I miss my old machine. It was a good little workhorse that I used a couple of times a week (on the proper cycles, never a quick-wash). I gave it a clean out every now and then and it served me well.
RIP Indesit WE12S. 😥

10 to 20 years ago Indesit was known as cheap and cheerful in the trade, they have become cheap and nasty for the past 7 or 8 years at least.

I had an indesit washer/dryer which i bought in 1992 and it lasted 17 years 😯 Even through the kids washable nappies!
It is a shame that these companies have gone down hill the way they have in all honesty. I have just purchased an ise10, there is no other machine to compare except miele, however i do not agree with their out of guarantee engineer fees, especially the fault code ‘bit’, (i am a very technical worded lady:lol: ) and parts mark-ups 🙁
Somewhere on here there is a post on bosch telling buyers the ‘W’s which are better made than others 😉
