ParticipantHello there. Our machine has developed a fault over the last few weeks. It will go through the wash cycle, but whether it spins at the end of it is hit or miss – usually miss. The water drains but when the cycle has finished the clothes are still soaking wet (I think it’s rinsing properly). It’s strange because occasionally it will spin, or, if you split the load into very small loads and try to spin again, it might do it. Any ideas because we can put a wash through 6 times before it co-operates! My husband is willing to have a go at fixing it if it’s not too difficult. Thank you!

hi,
I only just noticed this post. My neighbour had this very same problem and it turned out to be worn brushes which were replaced and all is fine a
again 😀I am not an engineer, so dont ‘quote’ me, but thought i would post this as maybe a possible cause 😕 Others may have different ideas for the same problem though, an over stretched belt was initially mentioned.
best wishes

it has a brushless motor
it is most likely to be the motor capasitor

I have the same problem, the unit appears to spin but the clothes come out very wet.
I have checked the back of the unit as previously the belt had come off but I put it back on and it was fine for about 4 months, then the wet clothes problem began. Could it be a loose belt or the capacitor issue? I have taken a video of the unit working with the back off and it shows the belt working along with the motor, but there is an awful grumbling noise even before the motor starts, is this the problem?

Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks.
