All Spin Lights lit up and the wash light.
No response to button presses etc.

Can anyone confirm if this is the board? I just came across the exact same fault, in my case they are flashing . Also the machine is the exact model and FD number! Faulty batch?

When Hotpoints do this, it’s down to a faulty capacitor on the main board. (See “Simple pcb repairs” sticky.) I wonder if this is the first sign of a similar fault?
Mike.The plot thickens! A mate calls me tonight and has the above machine with same model and FD number. Flashing lights! Only 3 in this case. It’s supposed to be motor fault. Checked brushes all ok. Did a reset and came back to life.

i had one last week. original fault was the carbons worn. they were replaced toc checked ok. continuity through brushes etc.
on this one the top middle and bottom spin lights were flashing. couldn’t get it to do anything.
now my question to micky 32 is what do you mean by a reset? i’ve repaired countless bosch carbon jobs and never had to do other than turn it to spin.
if there is some reset proceedure that i’ve missed then please tell us/me how.

keithYeah on this machine top, middle and bottom were flashing. First thing i checked were the carbons but were ok. The only way to get rid of the fault code was a reset. Turn knob to off. Turn knob to 6 o clock position ( spin). Touch and hold the spin speed button and turn knob to 7 o clock position ( drain). Keep holding spin speed button for 5 seconds and then turn on and off.
