Just wondered if anyone has used this spares supplier? I needed a bottom oven element for a Diplomat oven. Masterpart listed it as a special order whilst APart4U listed it as a stock item but were obviously dearer as they sell retail. I asked the customer if they want it cheaper with a potential delay or dearer but quicker. They left it up to me 😕 so I ordered it from Masterpart. After waiting a month I cancelled the Masterpart one and ordered it from APart4U. I’ve now waited a week for it. I emailed them yesterday to ask when it would arrive but no answer so far. I paid by Paypal so if it does not come soon I will try to get the payment reversed.

Perhaps I don’t need to tell you this, most internet companies will not hold stock but at the same time it’s a bit naughty saying the part is in stock.
Most will just collate the orders given to them and in return then order off an wholesaler.

    Indesit dryer relay apart4U

Actual list price £8.50 ex vat. Says it all. :rolls:

I have also been experiencing longish delays for special orders from Masterpart.

In desperation a couple of weeks ago I ordered an inner and outer door trim for a Hotpoint machine direct from Indesit. It took over a week to arrive and they sent me two front trims and no rear trim. 😥

Phone AW Services on (01603) 412324 – they may stock it.

What is the model number of the appliance that you require the element for?
AWS Appliance Spares are the largest stockist of spares for Hygena, Diplomat and Servis.

    Re: APart4U

Sorry, it’s not a Diplomat, it’s a Siltal oven and the part I need is the base element, part No. 2.12EFS004001. I complained to Apart4U and they have chosen to cancel my order so I have to start again from scratch. 😡

    Re: APart4U

Thanks for the link but I just followed it and it says:
Out of Stock. More expected 08/12/2010.
I might risk trying CDA though. CDA are absolutely hopeless at sending the right part though and they sometimes send stuff when I didn’t even place an order for anything. :rolls:
