    Hi All

I have a Liebherr CNES 3366 fridge freezer with an F2 fault – intermittent for the last 12 months (more off than on) but now its constant and the alarm beeping is getting a bit annoying. From previous posts I gather this indicates an evaporator sensor fault (part 9590142).

However, it was previously suggested (by the engineer fixing another apppliance) that it actually needed a new pcb – this diagnosis was based on the intermittent clicking sound you hear from the fridge (which its been doing for ages, longer than having the F2). So I have the choice of gambling on the sensor being enough, or just replacing pcb (although I also read somewhere on this very helpful forum that PCBs hardly ever fail on Liebherr i.e. Miele fridges…)

    Any advice welcomed.

    Cheers
    Andy

hello andy, F2 is a fridge evaporator sensor failure, as opposed to a F4 fault which is the freezer evap sensor. it is slightly easier to fit too.
    same part number.
    i’d go for the sensor.

    cheers.
