    i’ve got a hotpoint wd860p washer dryer, not sure how old it is, but wishing i’d never bought the thing.

    my wife was using the machine the other day, wash only and the machine came up with error f-13 after the cycle.

    everytime you switch it on it just comes up F-13 after a few seconds.

    tried replacing the thermostat to no avail. is there any help how to diagnose or what else could be the problem?

    Thermostat…which thermostat????

    F-13 is a dryer NTC fault. Could be the NTC, wiring to it, blocked fan or filter, faulty or jammed fan etc.

    The underlying fault is easy to diagnose, its a Hotpoint machine with Indesit electronics and dryer assembly in it. :rolls:
