Trips power after about a minute.

had heater outer seems nothing wrong with it.

On top of drum are 2 carbon pieces and the centre bit that holds them together is rubbing on drum and making quite a raket. In fact it tripped when the drum started to reverse.

Is it possible that the carbon bits being worn is the problem.
I dont understand what they are there for . Someone said its todo with the heat sense in the drum.

    Any help please.

They are the automatic sensors of the dryer, if you look carefully you will notice that the drum is electrically insulated from the paddles, a resistance measurement is taken & electronics switch heater according to programme selected. Sensing is low voltage so shouldn’t trip a tripswitch if that’s what you mean. More likely to be motor, or heater fault.

condensor dryer check lower base fan for condensation very common in making these trip out! the fan onlt comes on after a few mins? either dry this out or replace if too far gone? check condensor box seals as this lets steam get onto this fan moter! hope this helps?
