After a perfectly good wash cycle my dishwasher will not take in water.
I have removed both side panels and checked the intake solenoid valve.
When pressing start button I get 55v on the valve and the solenoid also reads about 3k ohms, is this correct or not.
I also hear a motor / pump running and a timer clicking on and off, I believe.
I have mopped al the water from the sump inside the machine and turned the machine on to both sides and front to remove any excess water.
If possible could someone please help me with this fault.

    Thanks.

Hi, the most common problem with these machines is the pressure chamber on the left hand side of the machine. It gets cloged up with fat and gunk. If you take it all off you will find a pipe that leads from the measuring system into the front of the machine , check that this pipe is not blocked. The only thing that worries me is that the water valve is only getting 55v it should (i belive) be getting 240v, Please let me know how you get on.

Ps. Never put a machine on its side , only on its back (it messes with the pressure switch) lol

    Hi
Thanks for the reply ( smacks back of hand for sumo on dishwasher ).
I will have to give it a stripdown, yes it is gunged up.
The 55v may be misleading, you know what digital meters are like.
So far this has taken me a few days as I am not fully fit, and in the meantime have ordered a new Bosch.
I will play with it as and when I am up to it and let you know if I get any where.
    Thanks for your help.
    Ian.
